Congrats Ryan.
That's a cool trophy idea.

Good evening trappers and lurkers. Lol. My case of belisle 280’s came in today. Definitely going to get more of these ones. I’ve been a big fan of the 8” savageau but these belisle’s look like they’re going to be my new favourites for wolverine. Going to make some boxes and add some 3/32 7x7 for anchoring later on if I can drag myself off the couch. Hottest summer I’ve very seen. Takes a lot of energy out of a northerner especially combined with our extreme mosquitoes. Come on fall time. Field work has been exhausting lately. Watching world war z with Bobby and Morgan first. Charlotte is in aklavik with my parents. Have a good evening.

Makes sense that I would like them. They’re just a bigger version of the 120 super x which has been my favorite 120 ever since I first used them

I still think Ryan would have been better off with 330s just on the off chance that a wolf decided to stick his head in there. I might aswell keep complaining about it that way when Ryan or somebody else catches a wolf in a 280 they can rub my nose in it. I get what youre saying but in all your years of trapping you got how many in 330s? I think 2? I caught a wolf in a #3 once but im not going to start setting #3's for wolves any time soon. Besides I have LOTTTTS of 330's, I just want these 280's for wolverine specific locations. You Savvy? Ill try set a few 330 magnums this winter in the wolfiest of locations just for your curiosity. Ill call it "The Ian project"

Very interesting Ryan it's always good to keep one's options open to continue to catch what's available along a trap line which you're very good at with Bobbie learning as you both go a great legacy of knowledge of the land and it's animals on how to utilise them as a natural resource !

5 litre v8 with 6.5 foot box. level kit and toyo open country tires plus the rack and spray in box liner. Found myself a deal on a good new truck that made sense.
