I am smoking a nice cigar while reading this. Is that immoral? Got some real smooth bourbon in the freezer and Sam Adams lager and Miller light in the fridge.
I don't buy the weed is ok cause its natural argument. Hemlock is natural too but I don't want to smoke any.
I believe in freedom. The war on drugs is the biggest waste of tax dollars ever thought of.
If drugs were sold over the counter at pharmacies they would be cheaper and pure. A lot fewer people would die from overdoses or from bathtub concoctions. I don't believe addiction would be any worse as any drug anybody wants is already easy to obtain.
Danny what you're saying is very logical.
Natural law says do thinks moderate, have temperance.
The argument against a person practicing there freedom is hypocritical. As long as it does not harm someone else. The gun, the joint, the glass of wine, in its self do not harm. It's the obuse of the user that is immoral.
Someone could argue that if you feed a child junk food and candy to the point that there health is threatened with obesity or diabetes that it is there right os a parent. But dous that make it moral. Common sense and personal responsibility seem to be somthing our society seems to be lacking more and more. Children being raised by the internet and being babysat by the boob tube.
And being taught what is right and wrong by public schools,or schools in general. That is the responsibility of a 2 parent home , ( of a man and a woman)
