Looks like squash leaves to me too, Bob. I read somewhere that you should plant them when they are fresh, just lick them off and plant. They said letting them dry out was no good. I got some a couple years ago, and let them dry, and that was when I read that, so never bothered to plant them!

I store my Paw Paw seeds in the freezer, but I've found it easier to dig up and transplant a root sprout.

Most of the wild ones in my country, are four to six inches in diameter an fourteen to eighteen high! Would make it much easier to pick the paw paws!
