In case you haven't seen this guy yet, he is a completely different level. I've never seen someone this good. He makes John Bonham look like he was playing in a high school marching band. I used to play the drums, (I was terrible) However, I know what it takes. The first two songs posted are incredible, and those of you that might say, "Meh". Check out the last two videos. This guy cannot be human.

LOL.... Cripes. You guys are listing drummers that, although the bands are good, and the drummers are talented, no doubt, do not have the technical expertise that this dude has. If you have ever played drums for any amount of time, it is more than apparent.

I'm not taking nothing away from him. He's very good.
But he's no Neil Perth!

My opinion.

As someone that played both rudimental and melodic percussion not only in school band, but was in the snare line for two drum and bugle corps, this guy is pretty much a gimmick. As was stated before, playing fast over the top of songs that in their-selves are pretty dismal may seem impressive, but is actually pretty pathetic. In school I seen guys like this and their clam to fame was playing fast and furious. There is a reason they never tried out for drum corps. Technical perfection with changing time signatures and tempos, precise sticking or complex rudiments ate them alive.

There are hundreds of teenagers marching in world class drum and bugle corps that would takes this dude’s lunch money.

If you want to hear perfection listen to the Professor come out of 5/4 straight into 12/8 for a single measure, three measures of 7/8, then back into 5/4.

He has actually made a few response videos to the drummer in the op and is actually very impressed by the op drummer and said he (the op drummer) wins.

I googled everything i could and couldnt find a response video. Would love to see it. Until then he is the master of covers and that means nothing. He does have cute stick tricks that the kids love. Hung jury….

Great drummer no doubt but John Bonham still gets my vote and he was the master of offbeat drumming
