Jerry says he's not worth a plug nickel.
The time has come to sell him..he's lonely and needs company and I don't want another donkey and jerryd have a stroke if i got another one.lol
I have no idea what his value is.
Prices are all over the place.
He's a year old, bottle fed about 2.5 to 3 ft high at the shoulders and weighs probably 175 pounds give or take a few.
I thought some of yalld maybe know.
Thanks in advance.
I'd lime.to.do private sale with him..not an auction.

You got a picture?? Do you do anything with him or just feed him?
I would like to get a mule for riding and packing someday.

Snowy, that mini mule is way too small to be ridden, except by maybe a small child. Packing, yes.
They are cute, but for reason of getting one, Id get a full sized mule. Or mammoth jack. They are superior protectors of herd animals, large enough to kill big cats, wuffs, dogs, coyotes, even intimidating bears. They can pack, be ridden all day, anything the mini does and much more.
Most folks keep the minis for yard mowing, and just because they are cute. Which is great if that's what is wanted. They do eat less and don't need shoes.

The prices for the mini-donkeys are all over the place, from free to $1000.00. In general, friendly donkeys sell for more. Jenny donkeys sell for more. Donkeys that will let kids ride, or pull a cart, sell for more. Pretty colors sell for more.
My friend Marvin has had as many as 40 mini-donkeys at a time. Just weaned and then well trained donkeys sell quickest.
If he doesn't have any training and if he isn't pretty colored, I would price him at $400.00, if there's no immediate need to sell him. You could then gradually reduce his price, if he doesn't sell. Every time you re-list him at a lower price, take new pictures. People are hesitant to buy a donkey or horse that they have seen for sale to long.

He's actually not a Miniature breed he's a standard but he's very small.
His dad and mom both weigh 4 to 500 lbs each.
He's used to a comb and halter broke.

Oh yes, very familiar with mules just never owned one. I might be too darn old to train one don't want to mess up my years left breaking a one-dollar mule. They are awesome animals.
