Well, Biden is commander in Chief....the Pacific Fleet, a Marine division, a Air Force base, and an Army Division with all of the equipment and logistical support are less than an hour away on Oahu.

This " administration" needs every penny they can get a hold of for Ukraine, the green new deal and 10% for the big guy.

Fema calls the shots except they are broke and yet refuse the supplies that are being taken over because they didn't approve or make the request.
We thought the Afghanistan withdrawal was a mess this is much more. There will be no telling how many passes away because they couldn't get medicine because of FEMA

It often seems that disasters are resolved in spite of FEMA rather than because of their help. There will be huge depots of supplies and materials available but they get bottlenecked at the depot level and don't get distributed to the field in a timely manner. The more layers of bureaucracy involved the longer it takes to get things done.

True, but given the distance and time response from FEMA I would think the military assets are quicker. When it comes to the DOD the president doesn't have to ask...he orders. But all of this requires a timely command decision which is a week too late.

Trump is already scheduled top show that is the ONLY reason Hair Sniffer cancelled his Vacation for next week and scheduled one for Hawaii. People literally started riding him about resigning if he went on Vacation AGAIN for the third time in 30 days.

One of the reasons that FEMA is broke is that Hair Sniffer and Mayorkas tasked FEMA with ALL of the Financial responsibilities of the Illegals that Hair Sniffer invited in. That includes all of their Travel Rent Food Clothes Welfare and Spending, Cell Phones and all. Maybe Hair Sniffer should have spent less on the Ukraine. He just gave them ANOTHER 24 BILLION while FEMA only got 12 Billion and that is already earmarked for the Illegals.
