Last year Ontario was offering $25CA tops, and down south Swampy showed that he got $40ish US for one of his. I asked the on Facelook why the huge price discrepancies. Swamp dropped off right at the warehouse cutting out the pickup guy? Would you take $18 tops for your beaver? If so, give er.
I know some guys can’t flesh beaver. Talked to an old fella last night trapping for an RM an he said he tried one and said forget it. But he’s getting $60CA per tail, and trapping pretty close to home.
I don’t ship anything. I drop it off during one of my trips to the city. FHA has more options for drop off around here.

meh-fleshing beaver is easy-just takes a bit of time-like 10-15 minutes a beaver if you're just working at a steady pace

Not sure how bad he wants them, but he does buy them. The better ones anyway. It insures a steady supply of cheap coon into a badly depressed market.

My wife told me as much time as I spend in the fur shed, I work for $2/hour. The best $2 I ever made! grin
