Nice videos looks like a ton of prep work. I seems like corn syrup would be cheaper unless your geting tasted maple. Then again maple is probably easier to source.

Pray for hot dry weather.
Best of luck this year.

swampgas chili and schmidt beer makes for a deadly combo

You have to remember that 1 out of 3 Democratic Voters is just as dumb as the other two.

$30 for 3 pails of maple syrup. Doubt if it's real syrup from maple trees, it's some store brand I am sure.

No but I drew a michigan bear tag so I am going there when I am done in Minnesota.

Bernie we have a lot of acorns this year and one of the trees are starting to drop. Might be a problem in this area. How about yours?

There are very few oak trees in this area, but they have been dropping for a couple weeks, very early this year. Bears tend to migrate out of this area to where the acorns are found.

I just put out a second bait yesterday. My first bait had a bear on it the first three nights, rolled in the trailing scent for 5 hours straight the first night and then hasn't been back. I need to find a supply of dirty diapers to keep them on the bait.

I have nothing clever to put here.

Lots of natural foods this year. Hopefully you'll get things going.

My baits were dead for the first week I had them out then Sunday they took off and I have had 3 bears there all day every day almost. We had quite a few berries but with the fry summer it seems everything is ahead is schedule and the berries are drying up earlier then normal

Our berries looked like they were going to be early and some were drying up already before the end of july but then they got a second wind. Acorns are falling like crzy right now, and they started early too. Today's run over the first seven baits was pretty crazy, some baits had six buckets on them and were completely cleaned out in two days.

Tomorrow we must be getting a update,I won't draw for at least 2 more years. A couple of friends drew this year they went 6 for 6 on the first 3 night soak. They might put cameras up tomorrow, wish we could draw every other year like we used to be able to do,same about of bears if not more, but we don't have any say on the quota here in unit 12 and I don't want to bait 26 miles west of here in the no quota zone.
