Anyone know what became of robbie Gilbert?? He had a YouTube channel that was called trapping time tv… he kinda fell off.. I looked to see if he was a Tman member but I couldn’t find him.
Did anyone else follow him?? Know what happened??

I have watched his channel very entertaining. I can see why he would never drop in here.

Idk. I know he had his show in TV on pursuit channel I think. Maybe check there. Most of their stuff is online for free. The last season I saw if his it was him, his wife, and his kiddo Payton. The ladies were doing most of the setting and he was kinda calling it in a play by play.

There were several people involved in that incident, and one dad s LEO.

Yeah I remember reading all those charges. I'm pretty sure he put up videos since 2019 though

Saw several of Robbie’s episodes on the pursuit channel some time back but hadn’t seen him on since. Wasn’t really wowed by any of them but was good to see someone putting on shows about trapping. Appreciated that he was trying to promote the heritage. Enjoyed the water trapping shows more than his land trapping efforts.

I like watching trapping Inc shows, much better content, and also same with Mark Steck’s shows. Both of those on Pursuit channel too and I DVR’d way more of those two shows than I ever did of Robbie’s. Steck has some guests on that put up big numbers and quietly work hard at it.

I’m sure Robbie is a good guy and trapper, I just preferred these other two shows I mention above more than his shows on same Pursuit channel.

Sorry to hear of Robbie’s run ins with the law. Last thing we need are bad legal matters and public perceptions of anyone out promoting our heritage and pursuing game. Need to keep teaching our kids to always do the right thing and obey the rules, and lead by example.
