25,000 acres of private ground to roam on at will is irreplaceable. I live next to the National Forest here in NW Colorado and during hunting season now, there is a hunter behind every bush AND tree. It's hard to find a place to be alone on 1,125,000 acres next door to me.

Why do you think most of the "Alone" shows are in Northern Canada

But probably taste bad, and some are greasy. Sorry Boco, just could'nt resist. Our neighbors to the north have been some of our best allies forever. I hope that never changes!

Because southern Canada is full of backpackers, bird watchers, and hikers from Toronto and Vancouver?

I read RV's are hot. I've run into a few families that were living in RV's and traveling from town to town, maybe gypsy caravans will be the new thing. Lots of folks living in tents or their cars these days including families, makes me appreciate what little I have. Good to know that at least the people pouring across our southern border are getting free everything, some are more equal than others I guess.

If the nitwits running this show were serious about reducing inflation, they would do what Ronald Reagan did as soon as he got into office.
Raise interest rates up to 18%!
It was painful, but combined with major tax reductions, it worked.
These nitwits in charge now, don't care about us. They only care about the elections which occur every two years. They will not do the hard work and risk losing an election over it.

If the trend continues on the current curve, this time next year residential values should be about 2% less than what they are today. Right now values are still increasing but only by about 2% per year, compared to 5% last year, and 8 to 10% for 2021.

Uh, Buzz, we don't talk so directly in public anymore, not since we were actually infiltrated by an anti named Petr a couple years back. We've got to be more cautious these days.

Boss Dobbins says to keep your entire post in code from now on. We did decode the fringes of your post and understand it's a request for time and place of the next meeting of the Trapperman Executive Committee.

Boss says the meeting will be held in the usual place, the secret cavern on Trapperman Island. I didn't ask him again about the time.

He hasn't been in the best mood lately. I think having to batch it and live without carbs must be getting to him. And I hear the EPA is going to fine him for excessive release of methane from high bean diet.

Oh, and don't forget to pass the news on to Hal.

I. Reno the median home price is at $600,000 and they are building as fast as they can to accommodate those fleeing California, unfortunately they bring their policies with them.

Remind those fleeing California that they are refugee's and NOT missionary's.

Lake shore property is nuts here in central MN. My next door neighbor had his summer place listed for $950,000.00 and it recently sold for $1,050,000.00. The new owner just tore it all down including the garage with living quarters above it and is building a 6,000 Square foot two story house right next door to me along with a two story, 30X40 foot garage with a basement under part of it so he can practice his golf swings on a golf simulator. The new place will cost well over a million....probably two not including the demolition costs plus the landscaping that is o be done. He calls it his "cabin". They will use it for summer recreation . He just completed a 15,000 square foot home for himself and family in the cities. An appraiser for Lake Minnetonka just told me today that n 100 foot lot on that lake goes for 4 million bucks right now. Some people have money to spend.

I'm just happy to be here! Today I'm as young as I'll ever be and and older than I've ever been before!
