Lugnut trapper L Joined: Dec 2006 SEPA	Buckeye has one of the worst BTU ratings of any north American specie, even worse than white pine. I wouldn't waste my time processing it for the woodstove but would burn it in a fire pit if that's all that was available. It's not even a good specie for woodworking due ti its plain Jane appearance and low density and strength. and it stinks when it's green. LOL Eh...wot?
