This weighs about 10 lbs I hit it with hammer it is solid. A magnet won't stick to it look like something melted.

That's my thought.

Hang a magnet next to it and see if it gravitates to the rock…if so possibly a meteorite. A magnet may not stick too it like it does to your fridge.
