swampgas chili and schmidt beer makes for a deadly combo

Mines 12x16 so I know the feeling! Less space to keep clean and warm as far as I’m concerned. Love it.

I don't see a lot of insulation in that wall. I had one like it. My great uncle built it in the 30s. No insulation, just boards.

Nice collection of bucks b&b.

Nice cabins. Why are some of them so high off the ground?

I’ve had insulation in other camps and it just seems to hold moisture and mice. As small as it is I’ve found I haven’t needed it yet. I may some day but I’m not there much when it’s below 0. As it is that wood stove will drive you out of there in no time.

That was my experience. Sucks being the guy who has to climb out of bed in the morning to fire up the stove.

Yeah I probably have to get up 2 or 3 times a night to fill the stove. Not the best job but someone has to do it. My stove sucks too. I could probably spend some money and only have to fill it once or twice but for as much as I’m there it does the trick. You know how it is, it’s either 50* or 90*. Not often that sweet 70. Maybe that’s where that insulation comes into play!

Lots of very nice, neat and clean cabins in this thread. Like the wooden panel walls inside, and clean looks . But Jack’s takes the cake , for me. I loved staying there , Jack . It was wonderful and comfy. That cabin is stylin.

In all fairness, it started as a shed to put a pontoon in when Covid started and is only a few 100 feet from the house. I don't mind staying there once in a while and just "unplugging".
