I cannot drink coffee or eat chocolate after about 2pm and fall asleep before midnight.

In the mornings, I can enjoy several cups of the same brand of coffee, then return to my recliner to read or watch the news, and fall right off to sleep for an hour or two.

Is it physiological or psychological, or both. Probably fewer things running through my mind in the AM.

Does coffee bother you the same way? Does worry keep you up or can you put it out of your mind when you
turn out the light? I could when I was 40 years younger, and got more exercise.

Funny, Im the same way. I'll often wake at three or four am and have a cup of coffee and a couple of smokes while reading Trapperman, then go back to bed for an hour or so before getting up for work. Can't have coffee after four pm or I won't fall asleep.

I live on Bottled water. But even when working full time Caffeine never really affected me that much

I worked in the bomb dump when I was in the military. I was usually the first guy there to relieve security and get the coffee brewing. We had two of those large silver coffee brewers you see at big social events.

Half of my job consisted of paperwork. My hand shook so bad when I was writing, it looked like a chart recorder documenting a major seismic event. It got to the point I was embarrassed by it but it never kept me from falling asleep. I still drink coffee all hours of the day. Usually with no issues.

Problem that I can't claim drink coffee from time I get up 0430/0500 til I call it a day, even take pills just before bed with coffee, life does not exist without it, 3 to 4 pots, no not cups but pots, a day

I would normally say I am mostly un-effected by coffee I drink about a half a pot most days , sometimes a pot.
pot being 14x6oz=84oz or about 2/3 of a gallon

I have gone grocery shopping with my wife on Friday evening after work , was falling asleep driving so I grabbed a red eye which is drip coffee with 4 shots of expresso , guess who was exhausted at 12pm but mind could not stop running.

nothing wrong with stopping drinking coffee at noon or 2pm I mean you want to switch to beer at some point and people judge you when you switch at 09:30

Yep get up have 3 cups of coffee fall asleep in the chair have a cup at 5PM wide awake till midnite or getting up at 1-2 in the morning

I love coffee, but can't drink it as I have afib. Caffeine makes my heart go wild. I don't like the taste of decaf.

I start my day with coffee and end it with coffee. Very common for me to bring my cup of coffee to bed and sip it till I fall asleep.

Some people it effects in different ways. I have never gotten the sugar or caffiene jitters that everyone complains about. I drink coffee all hours of the day and even outside when its 100* out.

Yeah I run on caffeine an nicotine..cup of coffee I the morning x large then a bang enegery 300mg then I'll get home shower get a cup of coffee while I decompress then a monster 160mg go out do my chores come in get another cup of coffee with dinner an call it a night usually asleep by 10 or 11

There's meds for everything nowadays.

I'll get shakes from no caffeine, gone a couple months with out.
Even head aches, coffee n monster is the go juice.

Just keep em under 4 a day.

When I drank coffee,I drank cowboy coffee. That would help some but I Finley stopped now I drink tea.
