Nice! Patients with wolf. Justin Webb had a good demo this year. Remember it could be weeks before they come back around. Wolf is probably my favourite species to catch, it’s really like a game. In my area they came back around every 4ish weeks, and not on the same trail, sometimes quite a distance off. But when you get the “master of the woods” to stick his head were you want it, it’s a heck of a feeling of accomplishment! Bait I had little luck, my wolves have other trappers on them so I try to think outside the box. I sit a ways away from an area I wanna set, think about it, get in & out quick and stay away while checking. The ole upside down ram worked for me and I try not to add any objects to the run. I think they just know their domain too well. Anything that might give you a slight edge, use it. ![[Linked Image]](https://trapperman.com/forum/attachments/usergals/2023/09/full-56418-188890-img_0931.jpeg) ![[Linked Image]](https://trapperman.com/forum/attachments/usergals/2023/09/full-56418-188891-img_0917.jpeg) He was just falling asleep when I took the pic. Good luck and don’t give up!

He's in Idaho. Exact location a closely guarded secret. He could tell you but then he'd have to skin ya. where abouts are you, I hunted off highway 12 years ago and there was wolfs all over the place.

In the one picture it looks like your using to much guiding to direct the wolves foot to the pan. I would suggest you use less and or smaller guiding.

But I have to ask another stupid question. IS this ADC work? I wouldn't think any fur is ready already ... Don't know your area. BUT it is the first of September even where you are Obviously he's not planning on skinning them, it's got to be some kind of ADC work. Coyotes caught anyplace in North America will have zero value now and until mid November. The market as it is only wants fully prime, lots of heavy dense under fur in coyotes (northern coyotes) and then for only a few dollars. But.....if you have an itch, who am I to say don't scratch it.
