Greedy union losers. More commies. Did you even read the article? LOL,,I didn't think so.GMs CEO went from making 203 times what an auto worker makes(in 2019) to now making 362 times what an auto worker makes. But the company says their too broke to give the actual workers raises. Hahahaaaa So,,if a worker is making $35 an hour,,shes making $ 12,670 an hour. And every one wonders why these outfits have no money? WOW

Youre comparing apples and orangutans. End result will be more automation and more jobs in Mexico.

Or start his own company. Or even just get a better job. It's the American way. But don't worry, your boy Joe Biden loves the unions, and they love him, and is going fight for them to get more money, perks and free crap. Biden and the unions will tank the economy.

My Dad retired U.A.W. And he is against this. 46% raise and a COLA amongst other demands. The old man says it's just greed and out of hand. Yes the CEO makes a ton of money. That's what you get if you attain that position. Not many of those jobs available and most people can't do their job. I understand it's exorbitant but this shouldn't be the basis for an almost 50% raise

Maybe the CEO should spend some time on the assembly line, They might respect the job more. Maybe the auto assemblers ought to spend some time with the custodial staff, cleaning toilets, mopping floors. They might respect the job more. See how that works?

In my admittedly limited experience, unions protect the lazy and the stupid these days. Well, and the union's cut, of course.

You say the positions are different between workers and CEOs.Im aware of that Forest,,,however,,at the end of the day,,A DOLLAR IS A DOLLAR.And with CEOs making $12,670 an hour,Its not hard to figure why the companies are going broke. If CEOs are making that kind of money,,but they are not keeping the companies head above water,,I think they are not doing their job.See how that works.

It's a matter of value. Can get a guy off the street to push a button, or tighten the same 4 nuts 328 times a day for 30 years. Maybe the CEOs are wizards at bringing in those sweet Gov bailout billions??? What's the NFL's Roger Goodell make a year? Without even.playing!!!

How hard can it be to work the line and put wheels on the cars that job should be 21.oo a hr the only thing that hard is standing in one place. SO,,Ill ask this question AGAIN,,like I do in all these union bashing threads,,but I never get an answer. Why don't the auto companies let the workers go out on strike,,then just replace them with non union workers,,at maybe half the wages.Like you said,,how hard is it to put wheels on a car.Can you answer Guss??
