grand kids , neighbor kids dogs everyone plays in my yard. No run off when applied with garden hose . I won't let them on it for 2 days afterwards. It dries on the plants and is absorbed thru the roots. Don't spray if giving rain. That amount of fertilizer run off is good for the ecosystem.

The comment about wanting weeds everywhere sounds like some one that doesn't want to spend the money to control them...

Almost 17 years managing sports turf at a top 100 multiple course golf resort, pesticide and herbicide application certificates. Good luck with your pretty lawns. Stay healthy. Send a few 8 inch turf plug cores in for testing. It will open your eyes. Some heavy clay soils build up more and more chemicals for years. Not going back and forth with jbyrd63, because if he don't know something, it don't need to be knowed....

you're only allowed so many sunrises... I aim to see every one of them!

watch the first 1:20 seconds

Bunch of "conservation" minded people who supposedly care about the natural world?
Kill your lawn, plant it in native plants and do yourself, pollinators, neighbors, family and the world a favor.
