Just more symbolism over substance that will do nothing to combat gun/ people violence. But it will create some lucrative government jobs.

I honestly hope you're just a troll because otherwise you would be a first class idiot to believe anything said by this administration.

You need to attend one of our firearm training classes. It's all about safety in handling a firearm. These are all good kids who seriously come to learn to hunt safely. They are taught ethics and learn to respect wildlife and their fellow man. Many of them come so they can qualify to shoot on their school trap team. Something that Biden wants stop federal funding for. Some take the class because it's required if they want to hunt.

They could careless about gun violence, just look at the big cities that have been under democratic leadership the longest. It's a smoke screen towards taking people's ability to defend their rights and liberties and unless your naive you know that.

Yes Sir! That's a fact

The same folks who push to take your rights away by parading dead children on the news for all to see, are the same one who create the situations needed to push that propaganda

I'm glad I don't need another man's permission to carry a firearm.

It is just incognito but is really the office of gun confiscation. The communists know they need to get the guns out of your hands before they make their move. The atf has been hammering gun stores lately and closing them down. It's just a matter of time!

Put at least one armed combat vet whose kids attend the school in every school. Thoughts on that solution?

And as a bonus there would be none of that Uvalde BS where the cops don’t enter for an hour.

It's a great name for a new office ... has the makings to address the issues of the key catch phrase, *Gun Violence*; NOT!
It won't address public gun education, mental health concerns, or enforcement of constitutional law.
It will seek to shadow the UN small armed and ammo resolutions for small arms. It's an end around the Senate and the US Constitution to bring the USA into compliance with the elite's 'New World Order' ... no subjects to have guns or the ammunition to use them going forward. What Biden can't get done at the federal level, the states will be encouraged to accomplish with your tax dollars. It's more expensive for gun owners to fight on multiple state fronts!

I agree with u a 100% on them trying. The problem lies in what it is they are trying to do.
They literally celebrate killing babies at birth then expect people to believe they care about people being shot but I suppose there are some out there foolish enough to buy it.

There are many things they COULD do that would make a difference, but the solution they are pushing just so happens to coincide with one of their major political objectives, disarming the population.

We have had guns in our society for a long time and stuff like school shootings didn’t happen. Maybe we should look at the way American society itself is crumbling, men being raised without fathers, single motherhood praised, and the moral tenants of religion being discarded as outdated.

Most of these shootings are committed by a person who had been known for a while to have mental issues, but nobody did anything. Are they talking at all about the societal changes of the last 40 years and what can be done to remedy any of that? Is Biden and company interested in starting an Office of Mental Health to combat the depression and hopelessness that many of our Tik-Tok and Instagram addicted generation is mired in? Of course not, because it doesn’t fit their political priors. In fact, the more society falls apart the more Big Government can try and fill the void. And many aspects of what I would call societal decay are championed by their side, like single motherhood, and strong men being labeled toxic.

I have a 1st step to the solution, how about calling it what it is, people violence. Where I went to school, 100 feet across the road from the school was a general store. They sold firearms and ammunition. Firearms were easily available. Anyone could walk in and purchase a firearm without a background check. I graduated high school in 1971, a school shooting then was unheard of. Focusing on the guns will never solve the problem.

I have several solutions and they will work. Leave the Second Amendment alone and quit trying to disarm us. Instead of sending all that money to Ukraine and use it to place trained armed guards in every school. Also, use the money for this so called Violence Prevention for school safety. Let the police do their jobs. Reinstate cash bail rules. Place career criminals in jail. Nothing more simple than that. Criminology 101. You don’t need a task force for common sense. Does anybody including you have a better solutions I would like to hear some of your ideas if you have any. Sharon expressed hers. However, it is okay if you don’t have any.

That’s a dangerous attitude, left unchecked. The history books are filled with the unintended consequences of “just do something about it.”
