All of you ADC guys with employees… how many dollars per hour do you pay your employees and what hourly wage are you bidding them out at? Private message if too personal or not wanting to share, thanks guys and gals!

You pay them based on experience, skill, and licenses. If they can make more money for the company, they will get paid more.

Costs of living and wages are all over the place across the country. What I pay my guys really isn’t applicable to other areas.

Your probably better off talking to a good accountant. They can tell you what you need to change above wages.

Yes, you need to know what your expenses are. And they will go up an insane amount when you start adding employees!

Sorry not for me to have employees, I meant if I were to apply at a local wildlife control company what could I expect to make dollars per hour. I’m considering a new job and adc stuff interests me.

Your pay would depend on what you bring to the table.

What I’d find important would be:
-Driver’s license and literacy (we’ve found that neither is a given we can assume)
-pass criminal background and driving record check
-presentable appearance and communication skills
-self motivated and does not need constant supervision
-general knowledge on carpentry, masonry, roofing, bending metal, etc.
-sales experience
-Ability to learn how to carry a 32ft ladder.

Trapping and pesticide licenses are good, but I’d almost rather a person didn’t have it. I want to teach my way of doing things.

Depending on what you know, we’d start you off at a base rate with raises after you get licenses and certifications. As you increase your skills and grow, you get paid more. We have a map out that employees can take to increase their wage by $5/hr their first year. But you have to be motivated to do it.

As far as specific wages, that’s area dependent. What are the going rates in your area? What’s McDonald’s paying and add 5 or so to it.
