The New Testament was not written until around 70. It was not accepted by the majority of the tiny existing number of Christians until around 300. It was not printed until 1526. The first family Bible was not printed until 1791. Most Christian families didn't have bibles until the 1940s. Most people have still never seen a bible.

Only a beyond minuscule percentage of the billions and billions of people ever born have accepted Jesus. They mostly never heard of Jesus. I don't believe God could possibly be so evil as to condemn all those people.

I have read the Old Testament in its entirety, twice and the entire New Testament 3 times. I've read smaller portions of both a great many times.

The Bible is clearly written by men men, who want to control other people, not God. Some of us will never agree on that. I don't condemn anyone who believes differently than I.

Why do you Christians think God will condemn almost all of humanity, including most of humanity that never heard of Jesus Christ, if he is a good and just God.

… without a doubt one of the most prolific Apostales to ever live in my opinion… dedicated his life to speaking in tongues and taking up serpents

if we're honest we all have broken one or more of those commandments ( those without sin cast the first stone) Those commandments tell of a need for mercy, a savior. The Savior He, Himself supplied.

Forgive me but I see a lot of scripture verses that really don’t give instruction - no offense to anyone - let me pose this question again,

does anyone know how the first century Christian’s worshiped? How the apostles worshiped? How their first generation “ students” worshiped?

Similar to first century Jews?

Good discussion guys.

I have ideas based on books that I have read, but looking for other’s experiences

The Bible was written by men who were under the Spirt of God..ifyou read the Nt it tells you.
The mind of man can't understand the Bible you have to come to Jesus and he will renew your mind.

The first commandment pretty much tells us how, “Thou shalt have no other gods before me.”

We tend to wonder off to "other gods" from time to time almost unknowingly. If we are following God's guidance the Spirit will convict us of those things that have become "other gods". Obvious ones would be alcohol, drug or anything that becomes an addictions. Not so obvious would be just doing what you want to do to the point it takes your focus away from God.

I turned to Him again and again when my life was in shambles. Once things got straightened out, all the things I thought I shouldn't be doing cleared off my plate, I considered myself good with the Almighty. Shortly after, it became evident being obedient was not just about what I shouldn't be doing but what I should be doing as well. You want to worship God, just be obedient.
