A few years ago , HSUS helped the hound hunters in Michigan stop bobcat trapping.
So in away you're right that some outdoors sportsmen do more damage than help our cause.
I'm sure others on here remember that.

Here's an interesting read on the man involved in the Humanewatch.org site.

PS, I'm done.

Interesting read.
THE DODO ? Really? They seem to make HSUS out to be the Humane Society , animal rights groups tend to work together.
He is doing what they call supporting farmers and trying to stop HSUS from shutting down farming practices.
Like the size of cages for chickens laying eggs, or the feral pens to keep hogs from rolling over on their piglets .
Every animal rights group or organization has attacked farmers and anyone that use animals for anything.
They all lie like Brandon. How many times have the animal rights organizations been caught setting up fake videos of abuse of animals using paid abusers?
How about the skinning animals alive videos?

I'm sorry but to trust any animal rights group is like trusting our government any more.
I remember in the early 70's all the pictures of three legged dogs they claimed lost their foot in traps !
LOL Almost every farmer had at least one three legged dog back then.
Remember the sickle bar mowers? The dogs were always running around the farmer while mowing hay , and sooner or later get caught in the blades.
I'll never trust anyone that will side with any animal rights group.
They have no idea what they're doing yet make millions off of bleeding hearts.
What the heck , this country is becoming a country of Panzie's !

When it comes to handing out money, just keep a positive thought. Just because some have affiliations with those that have helped limit ones rights, should not influence your decision to give them more money.
I am sure George Washington never had any reservations about being bled out. It was standard practice after all. Who would even think to check the recovering Vampire Anonymous books to see if their attending blood letting friend was on that list.

Thanks in advance.

Cathryn, I have never ordered anything from Chewy.com. And I am shocked that any trapper would consider ordering anything from them. Here are two reasons why:
1) the HSUS was the biggest player in BANNING Bobcat Trapping in California in 2015, which eventually led to the State BANNING all forms of trapping in 2020.
2) Chewy.com is a huge supporter of the HSUS.
If you send any money to Chewy you are effectively funding the progressive ban on trapping in this country. There are other places to get what you need for your pets. I don't care if is cost more! You are better off paying a little more $$ to NOT fund the HSUS.

Quick Note: Hunters/trappers like to hate on California, and believe me, I understand why more than many of them do!!! But do you all realize that up until 2015 California trappers were producing large number of top quality cats??? (we are talking the $1,000+ cats). And the trappers were having a great time doing it. Then in 2012 along came the HSUS to ban hound hunting of bears and bobcats. In 2015 the HSUS successfully banned Bobcat trapping. In 2020 the HSUS successfully banned all forms of trapping in California. It was a quick and progressive movement that took less than 10 years. And as California goes, the rest of the county follows... Please don't support Chewy.com...

I had ordered dog food from them a couple times years ago, service was good, prices were as good or better than local stores would sell by the ton, and it was delivered to your door. But then I found I could by the dog food I feed at Tractor Supply quite a bit cheaper by the ton and they put one in two hours away. Then the HSUS partnership came to light. I haven't checked prices there in a long time, because I won't support HSUS.

Gonna have to agree, they are convenient. But, I cannot support someone who supports the HSUS.

I mean, I also don’t support communists or child slave labor as I type this on my IPhone. So, I understand the hypocrisy. But I digress… I’ll chose to support whom I support and not support those whom I cannot support.

Within reason of course.

If you prefer to avoid companies that promote debauchery, here's a roster of companies that openly support it, including Chewy. It basically confines us to flea markets and church bake sales--but at least the pies are good.

I can see where chewy would be very helpful to those with limited mobility or transportation issues.

I kinda feel like if we dug deep into just about everything know a days there's be an anti hunting or rapping g group involved somewhere and while.some.people can afford to not use them, some people need thw convenience.

I've not used them because I don't do online shopping and we don't use credit cards. Jerry doeant even have a debit card but chewy is very important to my mom, especially since her stroke.
