Are they still being made. I have not seen any adds for them in a while. He use to go to the little valley, NY trapping show and sell them.

I wish I had bought a dozen a few years ago. Just hope he is doing alright and happily retired.

Williams cage traps were pretty much all I used for ADC work. The 8x8x24 became my go to groundhog trap when I needed to cage trap one.

He still makes them. I don't think he goes to as many shows as he used to but I know he goes to some.

Great traps and people, we bought hundreds from him through the years.

I checked out long legacy, says they are sold out.

I set up alongside him at Nationals in Lima last year. He could only sell me 2 since most of his load was a delivery.
RIP Bill.

Have never seen a Williams trap in person, but based on what I could find, a Williams and Wickenkamp are very similar in build quality. Trigger mechanism may differ a bit but not sure about that.

A standard Wickenkamp 302 is a heavy built, sturdy trap.......and you can actually buy them.

Or if a guy wants a trap that looks and works like a Havahart, but built like it needs to be to hold any coon going, you can buy a Tomahawk for about same money.

So you still have both? If so, can you post a picture to explain how they are different? I could only find an iffy photo of one on fleabay or some such place.

Am curious how they differ is all.

If I understand correctly, nephew or some other Williams relatives were going to be making them, but if they are never in stock, that may have fallen thru.
