Another hustle I have going.
In the last 2 days I've located and weve collected,36 free roosters.

I'm gonna keep collecting while jerrys in wyoming and when he comes back we're making a trip to the poultry auction at Mt hope.

The last time I collected 37 and averaged right at 12.00 on em.

After feed for them.for 3 weeks and gas, and buying our lunch, we should.clear

250.00 to 300.00 hundred bucks,or so,, if the market holds.

Ive got 6 or so of my own to add to em too.

If yall are getting tired of reading about what's going on with us and what were doing to make a buck,I'll stop postin about it.

Nope quite the opposite I enjoy reading about it and your creative drive.

Certain demographic sometimes REALLY runs up.rooster prices at our local.auction.

Feed the pot bellies good food for a week of two and then put them in the freezer there really good and have a lot of fat that can be rendered and used to fry fish.

I think Big Will Marshall is paying more for large breed roosters than that. It's probably definitely more once the commissions are taken out. He buys most of the large breed roosters at Ohio auctions anyway. I'll PM you his information. Don't be afraid to haggle the price he offers up.

Keeping poultry from numerous sources, alive and in good shape, once mixed together, is nearly impossible. Seemingly healthy poultry almost always carries stuff that will transfer to other poultry and devastate them. I cull almost everything I buy and do at least a 60 day quarantine on everything I keep. I have lost a great deal of money, twice, when I didn't do a quarrantine.

Black Africans buy different colors of large roosters, depending on the time of year. They need red in the Spring, white in the Summer and black in the Fall and on the feast day for their saint/demigod, they need all 3 colors. They use small roosters to get the answers to yes no questions. Most roosters sold go for sacrifice or for meals for Asian people.
