if you had been eating sugar/carbs you have to beat that addiction/detox , the carbs make you think you are staving when you don't have them.
embrace the suck for two weeks , try lots of coffee black or with creamer cream or half and half. even whole milk has a lot of carbs 12carbs per cup.
in a month you will have fully transitioned
try broth it helps drink broth like it is tea morning and afternoon
I am not strait carnivore , I eat vegetables , meat , cheese and being fall I will eat a few apples , during the summer I would eat a few good tomatoes.

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

I am not strait carnivore , I eat vegetables , meat , cheese and being fall I will eat a few apples , during the summer I would eat a few good tomatoes. When we switched to a high protein/.fat diet, we found adding a pat of butter to the morning coffee helped a lot to avoid feeling hungry before lunch time. Seemed to help with BM regularity also. Counting macros/calories can help also. Carbs are high calorie per gram, as you replace that with equal weight protein/fat, there are fewer calories per gram, so you have to add more grams. You don't have to weight your food, just get a general idea. Stick with it, learn what your body likes and you'll see the benefits. 3 months in now and I am down 10ish pounds and feel great. I still eat a few carbs now and then.

I ve been on it 3 days and im starving. I assure you, you aren't starving, you are going through carb withdrawals; seriously. When I went off carbs for awhile, I had the overwhelming urge to run up to the grocery store for donuts, usually in the evening. A couple of so-called experts think that alcoholism is merely a form of carb addiction, or that carb addiction is a big contributor to the urge to drink. Worth thinking about.

Agreed.....Was on the keto diet last yr and it was the same. I figured it was carb cravings,I have drank the coffee with butter and pure coconut but that didnt help. Coffee irritates my gut and makes me feel hungry. It also dehydrates me making me retain more water so I just refrain. My weight is dropping quickly again. Eating the pure butter helped the cravings.

im well aware of that..I lived in s.e. asia for many yrs and kept my weight down by just eating their diet. I could fly to usa for a month and gain 20 pounds and that wasnt eating mc d or fastfood. Just a difference in the foods there. Also no joint pain in s.s. asia. Thanks for the tips guys.
