I remember flipping baseball cards at recess in grade school.
Lots of Philly players..
Jim Bunning
Dick Allen
Cookie Rohas...are the only ones I can pull out of my head. I remember having Robin Roberts and Richie Ashburn cards. Don’t know if they are worth anything now.

Rangers played stupid tonight. Left Scherzer in way too long, then just gave up and let the Astros score 3 runs that is what beat them. If they had played tough could of been a win. Hopefully they play smarter tomorrow night. I will say this, I root for four teams now. The Phillies and anyone who plays the Mets, Yankees and stinky Astros.

Phillies are well stocked with ex-Cubs. Schwarber has had 3 hr in two games, Castillanos (sp) is doing great this post season as well, and though Kimbrel scares me everytime he takes the mound, he seems to still be getting it done.
The Rangers and Phillies are up 2 game to nothing. It'll be hard for the other teams to come back from that. Guess I jinxed him. I'm ok with the D-backs getting a win or two since they were kind enough to take out the lowly Dodgers.

Kimbrel would not be my closer if I were the manager, and I would not have used the rookie in the 7th, it was nothing short of a miracle the Phils got out of that inning giving up only one run.
I got myself a seniors' GPS. Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination, it tells me why I wanted to go there.

I said they better bring in their best pitchers after they scored that run on the pass ball. They never listen to me either.

Steve Carlton was one of the better pitchers in the MLs and he threw over 300 innings a season for many years.
Bryce Please don’t remind me , always wandered how many more World Series the cardinals may have won only if they would have parted with a few dollars. Maybe none but it would have been interesting

The steal of home set the tone for the game last night, that was an exciting play. Go Phils.

Any one but Houston… sure only 2 guys from the team that cheated are still there,, but they are still there. Any person from that team should be permanently suspended from baseball period!! There was no doubt that they cheated,, which really sucks, because altuve is actually a good enough player to not have to resort to cheating,, but he did,, and it was proven. They should have been stripped of the title as well as permanently suspended. Shoeless Joe was never proven to have cheated, yet he was banned for life. I’ll always be sour because they were allowed to walk away.
Stand by your principles, Stand by your guns, and victory complete and permanent is sure at last. Abraham Lincoln

Game 7. Rangers play better on the road. I hope they can pull it off, although a great World Series would be Phillies and Houston.
