I would call back again as well. I purchased a dozen of there squeeze set ones a few years ago and none of them would stay set. I sent them back and was told by salesman they couldn't be replaced because I had dyed them. Told them to keep them. Got a call a couple days later and new dozen was on the way. I like to try and buy American as well. With that being said, The Duke DP's have been bullet proof for me. Easiest to bait and set and just keep catching coon.

The traps were not purchased through FnT,

I have placed two recent orders with FnT and their communication and delivery have been excellent. They were out of stock of the Hiawatha Valley bait when the original order delivered and left a nice personal note explaining it would ship soon and thanked me for another order. The bait was in the mailbox when I got home last night.

Just wish more operations were as good.

Maybe someone should forward a link of this thread to them. Then maybe a light may come on.

Who is QSR? I must be having a senior foggy moment LOL.

Drifter - You are not alone. I am guessing it is the manufacturer of the Freedom Line of products......not sure myself

QSR = FnT

Call FnT and ask to talk to Shawn or Ralph (the S and R in QSR)

I’ve never owned any of the freedom brands, I have however used dukes, no bs, original griz getters, and diablos.
Imo, the diablos are some of the best dps out there…
The springs aren’t super strong,,, but strong enough to hold raccoon and easier to set than any other brands I’ve tried,,, they even have a clean out door.
Wolf creek products carry them,,, I seriously don’t know why they aren’t more talked about.
I’ve used them for a few years now, and I don’t think I’ve ever had a coon pull out

I did not know that but regardless I'd be shocked if FnT would leave a customer hanging.

To the OP, I think you are using the same fillet table / portable work bench I use but mine still has paint on it.

I have one from fnt post that for with order few yrs ago. I think it made a catch or 2, what happen exactly . I have had coon get out of dps, right as I approach twice at least it happen. Big coon. That slid paw right out in hard lunge on approach catch , can't rember if good or bad with freedom brand . Lot traps have good or bad points , maybe it just way dps end up be like that. Could happen another brand also
