20scout trapper Joined: Nov 2017 Posts: 5,893 West Central MN	I found this beaver run and set up on it hoping it doesn't freeze up. The lodge is huge but on the neighbors property. Hope to talk to them tomorrow. Common sense is a not a vegetable that does well in everyone's garden.

Only 6"-8" deep so too shallow to do much with it for now. Checked out the new property and struck gold! They say to set on sign. Is this fresh enough? Loki stayed in the truck while I put out a few sets. Difficult to do this time of year but I'm creative so hope to pick up a few before total freeze up. I was told the park ranger wants to thin the beaver population too so I might stop by the park this afternoon and have a talk with him. Last edited by 20scout; 10/30/23 01:46 PM. Looks like maybe one night or two and the beaver set might be done. Moved a froze up 330 to some moving water in hopes a otter shows up.
