Gulo and Team V all I can say is wow.
If 160 Loser convinces you to produce audio books, put me down for a copy of both.

I've read enough of Jim Corbett's books to know that tigers and leopards can be nasty pieces of work.

Great pics, thanks for sharing. Jack, I could really relate to the story you told when you were trying to use your rudder pedals in your cub to hurry up and land when a wolverine came back to life under your seat. As a fellow pilot, that one stuck with me! I always enjoy your posts.

Great photos. I would love to sit around a campfire with you sometime and hear some of the stories. Yes it would be a high light of my life to hear you talk of the many educational studies that you where involved in doing I would venture to say in many cases your work was the first of it's kind n many of the recording of your findings In other words ground breaking .Trapping the great beast that could have eaten you in one setting had to keep you on high alert And your senses where at a peak of about 11 on the Richter scale From my earliest days of hunting and trapping I would lay awake a nights thinking in anticipation of what the next day might have instore for me .And I was just trapping muskrats coons foxes or small game hunting .Or maybe deer TIGERS AND GRIZZLY BEARS would dail up the nerve endings by some amount

I can't even imagine what it would be like to walk up to a leopard with it's foot in a trap it could be like walking into a tornado of teeth and claws. I don't think they're in a trap,; but correct me if I'm wrong, but their probably in a foot snare.

GROUSEWIT -
You're exactly correct. I've trapped wolves with footholds and with neck snares. Tigers and leopards with foot snares. Grizzlies and black bears with foot snares and foothold traps and barrel traps. Mountain lions with foothold traps. Wolverines with neck snares and foothold traps. All fun and exciting.

Lions and tigers and bears....oh my !!! Sharon Those words reminded me that the musical group Jethro Tull has a song that is called Bungle in the Jungle It might be a fitting song to go with a video of Gulo at work gathering info on one of his catches It has a catchy tune and the first part of the song is quite fitting to what the subject matter is

What I did have in mind was that famous phrase that Dorothy and her friends kept saying in the Wizard of Oz
