Back and one sleeve done. Second sleeve is half done. The jacket front and sleeves are the same color, the back panel is a lighter color. Just the result of smoking differences, not really intentional.

Back and both sleeves.

What patience you have, such good work. Thanks for sharing.

I have an elk partial front tie up mtn. man type tunic I got out of my storage today. Love the soft feel, golden tan colour . No fringe or beads, but puts me in a good place wearing it. A light t shirt under it and I’m good to go in cool weather.

Looking forward to seeing your next phases on your garment.

Great work Snow my fingers are sore just looking at all the beading great work though. The colors you used reminds me of a lot of the work I saw on the Browning Res.

You are truly one of a kind in today's world! Beautiful work, you should seek out Tom Orr. He and Nancy would welcome you for sure! Just guessing obviously.

I know this isn't a saleable item but when people look at the price tag of handcrafted merchandise like this- they have no appreciation or perspective of what it takes.
Enjoying the posts.

I sure admire your projects lately. Seems you're busy all the time. I respect that in a person. Keep up the good work, sir!

ksnow I agree with this comment You are using a skill that has become a form of art And in the times gone past those pattens and designs had great meaning to the people creating them. Kudo's to you for sharing your talent !

Thank you for all of the compliments. They really mean a lot to me and help keep me motivated.

No, this item isn't for sale. Your are right, unless people have tried a craft, they often don't understand the hours of work it takes to do it well, and gain the experience to do it well.

Sharon, I agree leather is great for cool weather garments. This will be my first full braintan garment, looking forward to wearing it.

Danvee, I try to use old time colors when I can. They are softer than the new beads and look so much nicer in old style work.

Jack, I do try to keep busy. Between gardens, flintlocks, traditional archery and buckskinnng, my free time is usually pretty limited. I get in a run every now and again though.

Thanks again.
