I had a love hate relationship with the A-bolts. Owned three of them. A 375HH, a 300 Win Mag, and a 30-06. I loved their accuracy but their recoil was unusually harsh for the chambering. I sold the 375 and 300. I still have the 30-06 but changed the ported BOSS device for a muffler.

Wish I were in the woods today. Good luck!

I have one in 338 win mag , I had a break installed to try and tame the recoil ..
Must be the stock design , but mine is accurate..

It’s always good to have options. Like 25-06

Nice rifle but I NEED to have walnut. Stainless and walnut is just flat sexy. I have a 700 Mountain rifle stainless/wood in 7-08 and a Tikka SS walnut 6.5 Swede and love them.

I have nothing clever to put here.

25-06 is a great round. I would be kinda skeered of it in a A-Bolt platform though. wink laugh
