That's a nice looking puppy. When I lose my oldest couple of dogs to old age, I will get a feist again.

Was a family near me had a feist show up one day. They fed it and named him Tex. Tex was the best squirrel dog I ever saw. No idea where he came from. One their boys accidently shot him with birdshot while rabbit hunting. He wouldnt hang around when the boys wanted to hunt after that but they let me take him anytime I wanted and he still hunted for me.

Cotton, if I lived closer I would be interested. Had one about twenty years ago, and would like to get another. Sadly, it is just too much distance, and I don't need another dog at the present time.

Had one had him started on squirrels but life got in the way and he needed the woods time I couldn't give. Sold him to polecat one here, maybe if he sees it he can post a picture I would like to see the little guy.

My little mt. feist female is a natural. I'd love to tell ya that it was all the trainer but all i did was put her in the woods and the bloodline did the rest. Her biggest drawback is she catches a lot more on the ground than i'd like. Great dogs and those are some nice looking pups.
