I'm having a hard time getting the feeling. I overslept this morning. Set my alarm for 4:00 but woke up at 6:00. I've got climbers hanging in two different funnels. Overcast, chilly day. The rut is on and I just ran to the store for a cup of coffee. Terribly conflicted.

I stated earlier I prefer tracking but since my health issues I have learned to do less hiking more road hunting (hunting looking for signs or see game) and more sitting not to far from truck. It's frustrating because I love to hike but my body can't handle hikes like it used to.

Ain't that the truth!....

When my son was around 13 I had him pop one from the truck, he said " this sure beats sitting in a tree and freezing my butt off!"

find live deer, make him dead. Does not get easier than that.

Called in this little doe this afternoon. I was hoping for antlers she was the only deer that showed. Hard to tell from the pic but I was twenty feet up a tree in my climber.
