… there’s a forest service road down from the house a few miles…it winds back a couple more miles into to deep thicket and if a man turns right down a dim trail he’ll end up in an abandoned growed over oil well site..good place to release things back into nature (at night now)

.. the car was coming in at that point… noticed Cali plates … he pulled into what was an old shooting area gate from back in the 80’s to let me by.. a subaru with a rack and a bunch of those clear rubber water containers strapped to it lol

.. got out in my bloody clothes with a stern look on my face and asked “ where you from boy ?”

HA! I got to tell this story. My big brother drives an old welding truck and works for cash money only. No bank accounts, no nothing. He is not fond of the IRS or big government, or taxation without representation. He's got a big long scruffy beard and long hair and dresses like any other hard working man. He lives down a dead end road and last January when the local county property tax appraisers were riding around he met one of them on the road to his house.

He pulled over and stopped and stopped them when they passed by. He told them, "Hey man, you know anybody that wants to buy a liver?" Of course they shook their head no. He said, "Well how bout a kidney, you know anyone that needs one?" Of course they reluctantly nodded no again. He then said, "Well how bout an arm and a leg?!" I don't think they ever got the point, but it scared the crap out of em! HA!
