A later model Savage bolt in .17hmr. The clip is a piece of junk. The loading ramp is sloppy.
Just about each round will hang up and you have to drop the clip, clear the screwed up round.
Now the A17 I have uses a rotary clip like the Ruger .22. It works great.

Marlin model 60 .22 aka, jam-o-matic.
I have one that is a tackdriver with the factory installed barrel. No mods , completely stock. Very few jams even with cheap ammo. Sub 1" groups @ 100 ft range all day long. I got it at K-mart years ago for $99.95 I guess I just got a good one. Same here put thousands of rounds through the one I had it ran like a clock.
Was born in a Big City Will die in the Country OK with that!

hatfield PAS 12 GA. pump. more like POS. no quality control, the pin that holds the trigger assembly in keeps falling out, and it barley cycles. when we wrote to the company, they told us to buy another one and get 50% off. yah no thanks, I don't want another (This word is unacceptable on Trapperman) gun.

Mine is awesome, got it for Christmas in 1993ish, limited edition with gold trigger and gold "coin" embedded in buttstock. Best gun I've ever had to date! My dad's 10/22 has jammed way more than my 60.

788 Remington. Ha- Ha. I know that you know Patick's fondness for that model. Do you think that is why I said it?
I have nothing clever to put here.

Yeah that Marlin 60 22 would drive you to learn bad words. It has its defenders, but they'll never convince me. … you got to run good ammo through them… floor sweep stuf doesn’t have enough as to cycle the action … got to teach y’all yankees everything
Insert profound nonsense here

Mossberg Maverick 12 Gauge pump, stiffest (This word is unacceptable on Trapperman) pump I ever shot, was a complete POS, I have no problems with any other Mossbergs I have owned though I have one of those pieces of crap. Bought it brand new a few months ago and it started misfiring with light primer strikes right off the bat. Sent it back to Mossberg and they supposedly fixed it. It started misfiring again so I sent it back again. This time they supposedly put a new bolt in it. Got it back and it still misfires.

Any of the old percussion cap muzzleloaders. My dad had a CVA and rem 700 muzzleloaders and you had to be more than particular in cleaning the breech plugs or they'd hang fire or not fire half the time.

Mine was a remington 870 20 gauge youth. You literally couldn't hit anything with it. I hunted with it for many years before I realized it was the gun and not me. You sure it wasn't you? He shot all these including the coyote... I am going with Operator Error on that one!

Dad bought me and my brother both the rem 870 20 youths. My brothers couldnt throw a slug worth a darn, loved to throw scopes though. Never had an issue with mine though, still use it today for squirrels.

Yeah that Marlin 60 22 would drive you to learn bad words. It has its defenders, but they'll never convince me. I still have the Md 60 I bought back in 1971. It still shoots as good as the day I bought it at the Holiday gas station in Jamestown N.D. for 39.00. A brick of 500 was 4.99 I bought a 11-87 for my oldest son that was a nightmare for him.

Heritage Rough Rider 22 pistol worst gun I have ever owned. I know some of you guys like them and maybe I just got a bad one but it's not even accurate enough to use as a dispatch pistol. The bullets hit sideways on paper at 20 foot unless I'm shooting pretty high velocity ammo. When I have recovered bullet one end of the tail of the bullet is always a bit flattened. I had one of those too. I sold it very soon after buying it.

At 15 yards I have to aim about a foot low n right to hit my intended target. Can't adjust the sites. It does fire when needed to though.
