I don't miss any of those beers that went out of business. Hamms, Oly, Rainier, "animal beer" (Schlitz), etc.. They were all marginal at best.

Fort Pitt.

I think it was made by Iron City.

They tried to bring it back a few years ago. Not sure if it ever caught on again.

I have a picture around here somewhere of me drinking a Shlitz when I was like 4 or 5. My grandfather loved it. Him and thee dog would sit down every evening and each drink one. That dog lived to the ripe old age of 18. Vet told my grandfather that he figured the dog would've lived longer if it wasn't drinking the beer. He told the vet that the Shlitz ws probably the only thing that kept him alive so long.

I remember Fort Pitt beer years ago when I lived in the Pittsburgh area. There was another seasonal beer Pittsburgh had was Old Frothingslosh. It started out more like a joke but became popular. I don’t know if it is still brewed.
