Yet that cop kneeled on a mans neck for what 20 minutes? They could have easily just cuffed him and stuffed him into a squad car or ambulance. Those cops are not blameless. Prison may not be justice but they did deserve to lose their eligibility to be cops. 9 minutes he knelt on Floyd's neck. Floyd was a career criminal, not a hero as the media made him out to be. "They're Lying" is a good book to read to get the real story.

As a community, we missed a perfect opportunity to resolve the situation.
We should have offered up Mayor Frey, and Governor Walz as sacrifices to the mob.
Figuratively. the mayor should have done what his name implies.
Please understand this is not to be construed in the literal sense. Only that these weaklings never stood up when they had the chance, never accepted any responsibility, and even found ways to take credit.

Did you guys watch the documentary?
We can have a conversation about what happened to Floyd.
How the leaders of the city and this state allowed the riots to happen and abandoned the 3rd precinct is another matter. It's a disgrace

I said from the beginning that those policeman did what their handbook told them to do. I was called a mental midget for simply stating the truth.
I quit posting on here because, even on here people don't want to hear the truth unless it fits their way of thinking I opened my eyes and found out that most of you are blind.
Who said that? I can't see nothin'

Staggering amount of evidence for defense was not allowed by the judge. The Supreme Court was just as complicate by not taking the case under extensive review.

The body cam videos are very interesting. Chauvin and the Hmong guy came to the situation about half the way into the scene. Chauvin took control because he had the most seniority (I think he was a Sgt.). The first two guys tried to shove ole George into the car several times but failed. The knee on the shoulder came when Floyd started kicking one of the first two cops while he was on the ground. Supposedly, according to the movie, the first two cops were both newbies and riding together (?)(doesn't seem a good thing to do). Ole George talks all kinds of crap, such as "he just lost his momma" (she had passed 2 years earlier), the last time he was arrested "he was shot" (not true), lied about taking any drugs when asked, and then (maybe) tells the truth that he "couldn't breath" when first (and second time?) they tried stuffing him into back seat and before anyone "knelt" on him.
Full disclosure, my bedroom town cops showed the church youth group a number of years back one of their squad cars-- they were driving those Ford Escapes such as it appears the Mpls cops had in the body cam video. The back seats, with the separation between the back and front seats, is a fairly tight space. I can see if someone was freaking out, they wouldn't want to be there. I think the reason many police departments went to such rigs is that if there's too much space in the back seat and the perp's legs aren't hobbled, they can get a lot of force into kicks and break out side windows and maybe even the back windshield. Smaller transport space doesn't allow such action as easily as in the past.

Finally got this watched...all I can say is WOW! I knew it was a hamstrung case, but I didn't realize the extent of the corruption.

Just guessing here but..., I thinks his family that got the $$ would not give the $ back if they could resurrect that pos. If god came to them today and said I can give you george back but I need the money back, they’d quickly say george who? So True

Prison may not be justice but they did deserve to lose their eligibility to be cops. 20 minutes? He was in the squad car at one point (and wanted out). They were also WAITING for the ambulance to arrive. Had the ambulance arrived sooner (as was called for) none of this conversation would be taking place. And funny, the autopsy clearly stated there was no trauma to the neck area. Just a thought.

George had been convicted at least 8 times and had been stopped or had altercations with the law at least 23 times. Google it and all you can find is stories making him a hero and the cops murderers.

mnsota or anyone else from Minnesota,
I'm a hour+ into the documentary and they've been talking about the "abnormal" response time of the Mpls Fire/Rescue after the cops called for EMS-- taking over 20 minutes to come half a mile; has anyone in the state ever gotten an answer to why the EMS response was so slow during the evening of May 25, 2020? Given that earlier in the film, its shown that members of Fat Boys International are talking to the county ME within a week after he gave his "official" autopsy that shows cardiac disease (probably accelerated by chronic drug use) AND meth and fentanyl on board in the toxic report sort of makes my "tin foil hat" a tingling.
Was it ever determined 1) where did GF get the counterfeit U.S. currency?, and 2) who gave GF the meth and fentanyl? Maybe its just way, way too crazy to actually entertain but this is during the same Presidential administration where members of the Fat Boys had gone "rouge" and taken out the new president's national security advisor (a 3 or 4-star Army general) and tried to take down the POTUS himself.
Ok, I'll retreat to my paranoia tent once again and finish the movie. I've heard that EMS response is so long in areas that are "troubled". EMS waits till there are cops on scene and the place is as safe as it can be before they show up. In a related note I saw an article about Milwaukee Fire Fighters having problems with items getting stolen off trucks while they are fighting fires. https://www.wisn.com/article/milwau...firefighters-battled-house-fire/36896736

Only city I felt like a minority. The airport is a *******. You need to get out more. LOL. I had the same thought. Growing up I thought Minnesota was a craphole. As I get older and travel the country, I realize the standard of living here in MN is unique. I'd sooner live in Minneapolis than just about any other major city I've been in. The airport is so far the best I've been in. Granted I've only been in around a dozen of them.

Ok, I'll retreat to my paranoia tent once again and finish the movie. NonPC, it wouldn't surprise me if no charges were ever brought up against the other perps, however the one from the passenger seat did stand before the judge as a witness and it seems as though the corrupt judge coached him along the way. The feds jumped on this right away,..very convenient.
