It’s very hard to give away quantities of deer like that. Fewer and fewer people kniw hiw or want to out in tune to cut up their own.

However I question that picture. I’ve loaded trailer many times here with 30-35 deer on it to go into the check station. Never seen anything look quite like that

Here you can donate deer to a program that donates the meat to food pantries and such. Just have to take the deer to a participating locker.
Besides that, I know a dozen folks that would cut up and use any deer I brought them.
Appearently they are going to do something with those since they didn't just leave them lay where they were shot.

That's a pretty big assumption. There are only 3 people in the pic but I highly doubt those were the only ones involved in the hunt. So if there's a dozen guys, 3 deer a piece, that's 36 deer.

Just give me one thing, that I can hold on to. To believe in this livin' is just a hard way to go.

I'd be willing to bet that pic has nothing to do with deer hunting with hounds. Looks like a trailer full of road-kills to me. Yeah..I see the dog boxes in the trucks, but the context is not known.

Here in the pine flatwoods of southeast Georgia, deer hunting with hounds isn't dieing out. Back to back deer dog clubs of 10s of thousands of acres each.

Didn't take long for this to go negative, as hound threads always tend to do on here.

One tradition of most dog clubs I'm aware of of all hunters go home with meat.

Usually the shooter gets the tenderloin and loin or choice of cut then the rest divvied up by lot.

Maybe that club has alot of members.

Why is it so many of y'all think deer have some sort of special value and belong to you or you have some sort of vested interest in them?

To many of us and a large part of the public they are large rats that taste good.

Here is the fb link for those that think that I just made this whole thing up. There is a link to local tv story about it in the comments. Yes this was investigated and no citations were issued.

So nothing illegal then so what's the problem? Looks like a very good day of hunting to me.

Not everyone has more than a few days a year to hunt so try to pack it all in at once.

Well, that should be illegal because I said so while doing that very thing!

How much you want to bet?

You have 1st hand knowledge? Or just that FarceBook post?

And what are they doing alongside the public roadway? Skinning/quartering?

Just don't make sense to me.

Have you read the comments? The county Sheriff, several DNR employees and state congressmen all commented on it.

Have any of y'all watched the video clip from the local news station that is in the FarceBook comments?

Pics are from 2 incidents.

Large load of deer is 31 deer taken over a week's times by 60+ hunters. All verified by Arkansas G&F as tagged.

Trailer broke down is why they are alongside highway.

The petty jealousy and control freak nature of some are why most sportsmen hate deer hunters and assfishers.

Thanks for the clarification Swamp Wolf. I read through a hundred and some comments but never did find a video. Some of those comments were wild... they were literally talking about forming a posse to go after these hunters....craziness.

Folks were saying it had died out or wasn't legal most places. I was just pointing out that dog running was still going on in Arkansas.
