I am taking 2-3 hours in the morning to check a few farms. I have four set up, all snares to save time checking. I usually trap10-12 farms. I started 8 days after the season opened, I have fifteen now. Four big ugly dark or red dogs One really nice colored big male, and three were no good

You speak of ugly dogs. I saw a first last week in eastern Montana which says a lot as I’ve seen 50 years worth there. We were walking a high ridge for deer and down below my partner spotted something moving and asked what the dark animal was. I went over and took a minute to make sense, it was a coyote with a very light rear, a splash of orange on the back and from the shoulders to a pure white face the neck area appeared black. At just under 200 yards without the scope it looked like a black dot loping thru the sage. I know a guy snaring that country, I hope he gets it.
Good on you getting the line going, look forward to seeing more of your catches Tac…

Good to see you back Kevin, Stack em up! Thanks Dave, I sure missed it last year, I know I'm not going to cover my fuel costs, but I need to get out, it's been more than a year and a half since her stroke. Thought things would be better by now
