It was a great day to be outside.

We had a good time and made some new memories to get us by when we're older.

My luck has been when the eagles show up I won’t catch anything, I hope you have better luck than I do.

I want to go trapping with Jerry, but I could never keep up to him. I can't even keep up to what I want to do......jk

I mentioned the eagle cause here it's rare to see one. Especially where we're trapping.
One was eating a big dead catfish. They're scavengers too.

Lol.i know..BUT.. Im.smarter than that. I've developed a "pulley system" tha helps him get up steep banks and keeps.me.from.breakin.my back at the same.time.

Truthfully he doesn't need the help buy I don't see what it hurts to make it easier for him

He said all you have to do is get the permission and ride..he'd do the work.lol...even watching him.will.wear ya out though,lol

Out of the 22 sets he had out he had 1 coon, 13 beaver, 1 otter,(our season limit) 3 sprung traps and 4 sets that weren't touched.

It was a good day.

That is a good catch rate for sure.

Too bad it dont hold till the end of season,lol

10 to 20% catch rate at the end.of season is "normal"

These were all set on red hot sign.

Once the eagles show up and start nesting there you will be cussing them. Have to get everything down a slide to keep em off your catch. Took about 20 years to go from net sight to blasted trap line royal PITA
