I realize there is an initial investment and a learning curve, but canned venison and beef will make your whole family smiled and if stored in cellar can last a long long time.

oh I know and I have everything to can venison and have done it , it was my oldest daughters favorite meal when she was a kid.

we already make jerky , butcher ours own deer and beef

this came from the skills thread yesterday , learn more about other dried meats and ways to use them other than eating them like jerky

I also have 4 freezers that are full at the moment

sometimes I just need a rabbit hole to take a dive down for a bit

what can I do and with how little to understand the process.

also 9 hours after hanging the jerky it is definitely jerky with no fan it works a little slower than the electric dehydrator but it definitely works

you can dry jerky in a cardboard box on a wood stove , so there you go

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.
