It really hurts when it's one of your children. Makes you wish you could trade places with them. Prayers sent.
My doctor suggested I start doing squats, so I moved all the beer to the bottom shelf of my fridge.

Thank you all very much, we truly appreciate it. Got discharged at 0500 er said bad infection follow up with Dr soon. Here's the kicker, her ophthalmologist recently retired so now we're in limbo finding a new one. Her rx isn't covered and if we still pay it's 72 hrs before they get it in. Been on the phone all morning. How old is your daughter ? The cancer the reason for the prosthetic? I feel for you really do i have 3 yr old daughter with some eye issues hope everything is ok She's a teen now. Yes she was diagnosed at age 2 on 12/20 with a rare eye cancer with only 5 drs in America that can treat it. They all report to a Dr in nyc so we lived there on and off for 3 years. Has been officially cancer free since age 5. I hope your daughter is ok too.

That's awesome SJA.
Thankfully no need for St Judes this time Allan. We wanted to go there with the cancer but they didn't have anyone there to treat her cancer. Memorial Sloan Kettering in NYC is where we went and it was incredible. They also are a leader in cancer treatment for both adults and pediatrics. I'd go there in a heart beat for treatment.
She is doing better today. The area that looked like a contact lense is smaller and the rest of the orbit is not as red. She's cute we got her an eye patch band-aid but it's plain so put Christmas stickers on the patch haha. Sounds good. There is a lot of power in prayer.
