The biggest downside to the food they push that’s “sugar free” is the sugar alcohols that replace cane sugar will blot you like a Macys Parade ballon I mean gas that’s all day with cramps and gut noise all day long. Some of the sugar free candies are even worst then the baked goods just a few tiny pieces and it’s on for hours.

I took some Werthers sugar free candies elk hunting this year I thought I had food poisoning until I figured out it was the candy that about had me doubled over several times. Sugar free cakes and brownies have the same results just not worth the side effects. Sugar free cookies seem to be the easiest snack and yes I’m sure carbs are involved but I need to eat something.

Murrey makes a sugar free chocolate chip and shortbread cookies that are good. Voortman has a good selection of sugar free cookies their shortbread is excellent and they have several options to choose from in cookies or wafer cookies. Finding them can be tough the little stores don’t carry much in the way of sugar free items. Menards and Walmart are your best chances for them.

Low/no carbs is a life style. Time to stop trying to cheat yourself all week.
What you can do is assign one day a week for a cheat meal. It won’t hurt a thing. One cheat meal a week won’t throw your new metabolism to make you put on fat.
