I wear a seatbelt less sometimes because the beeper annoys me to the point I just buckle the belt behind my back and leave it like that long term.

Find or buy the insert piece only. Put it in there and problem solved.

Back in the day, you could use some controls on the truck (old days) and de-program it.

That's all well and good. Until you just want to back the car out of the garage to wash it, or change the oil. Or pick the wife up at the front door of the restaurant. Then you can't shift into D until SHE buckles the belt.

Just wear it. Might save your life someday. A good friend was just in a head-on collision. He was buckled in his Diesel pickup. The people who hit him were unbuckllled. Both were killed. My friend has a broken collarbone but is alive. Happened a week ago.

The car that caused the collision was tagged with a stolen plate and was uninsured. A crack pipe was found inside. Mother and 19-year-old son.

More control "seat belts that is" by big brother, maybe the Gov. should mandate weight loss, kills way more people than lack of seat belts. Next thing you know kids will be wearing helmets when they ride bikes.

Well I look at the seabelt law like this a dead person can't pay tax.

Should be able to wire up a switch on the dash for a cutoff to make it super easy to shut off the noise.

The government shouldn't tell you not to be stupid, however, you shouldn't be a fool and not wear a seatbelt.

Had one truck where there was a separate controller for the dinger, pulled it out and no more ding ding ding....can't do that anymore ... So you just let it ding till it stops on it's own, put the male end in and leave it, or buckle the belt.

We grew up in a time of no seat belts, while they do save lives, the "Safety" devices and warnings are a pain in the butt...

12 dollars for 2 that modify the vehicle in no way

or 12 hours labor to get the dash out , 11.99 starts looking better
