I caught 5 in the same foot hold trap last year in about 10 days. Here is 4 of them. Also had a bobcat catch in that trap between skunks. We have a lot of clay soil so nice bright white stripes are not the norm due to the mineral staining.

Are you selling to taxidermists, Jack? Ever tried a dorsal skin if you are?

I've done a few dorsal skins in the past. Guy I'm selling to now is a broker for taxidermists and will take all I can produce at $65.00 nose count. Wants 'em belly skinned. That and the quill and the cleaned skulls comes to about $100 per skunk.

They don't squirt when a 120 closes on them? I don't think I've ever caught a skunk in a bodygrip that didn't cut loose.

I'd say only one out of 5 let's loose in my 120 vics

one point is if when using coni's is to have a 2 inch log just infront so their belly rest on it when the trap fires, and not to get their front feet inside the firing position

A couple huge pepes 16lb the biggest so far 12-14lb not that uncommon.

Some nice large and white skunks there, hope you guys are hooked in to a buyer that likes white and large skunks, there is always a demand for the these odd ball skunks, that most don't really want to deal with until they find out how much money they can get from just one pelt !!

If not, I am always looking for nice white prime large skunks, more white the price goes up !
