Nope one fresh wolf track that had taken part of a beaver out of the high and dry beaver entrance,deer were moving this evening so maybe a few critters will be waiting for us in the morning.Scott really enjoyed the day of learning and really like using the 3n's.

I like my 3N's and B&L #3 OS too. Once I figured it out, catching cats in footholds isn't that hard. It just takes LOTS of patience and I was overthinking camouflaging the traps and trying to make a coyote type set.

I'll be using my Longsprings back home now!

Good morning,the winds let down last night,should have been some critters out hunting last night.We'll find out in a few hours,good luck on everyones first check.I think we will see spots and orange blazes in the first couple checks,fingers crossed.20 above now with the high of 25 should be a nicer day out in the winter wonderland.

I am going to wait until later this morning to run my few sets. If nothing else, I am hoping to see a few tracks before the snow melts later this week. These mild temps are great for being able to release females and kittens with no frost damage to toes. Good luck everyone.
