I have a lot of apple sauce that we tried to make but it ended up not tasting good or something. Has anyone ever used it in a lure or bait? What purpose would it serve?

You could use it as a base for a muskrat or raccoon lure. Apple essence is water based and would work well in an applesauce base. You may want to add a thickener or something sticky like corn syrup or honey.
