Good late afternoon,well it didn't work out to get Scott his 1st marten,Scott checked 2/3rd of the line and then got a early start back home 5 hours south east of here.I sent him a text picture of another poor bellied Tom,not as big as Scott's todays Tom was 36.92 lbs.It was fun having another trapperman family member up here to try to get their bucket list critters.You know what will happen tomorrow,I'll have a couple of martens,that's just the way it works.I loaded 8 weasel boxes in the truck,think I will set a few out,need more fur for our MTA tanned fur project.Have a great rest of the evening everyone.Scott I'll let you know when the almost snoose can bobcat comes back through,my guess is by Saturday.Thank's for coming up,Tim and you were fun to entertain.

I got back from MI tonight in time to check all but 3 sets and had blanks. I will give it a couple more days and then may head to Iowa this weekend chasing Roosters again. That sure is addictive. The big cat here that I want to take will only get easier as time goes on.

Well two of my four otter traps were froze in so I pulled them, the other two were blanks. This is the longest I’ve been out on the line without seeing fresh otter tracks. Our marten/fisher sets were all blanks today as well. Maybe tomorrow!

K9 come over here,there's plenty,but now it's going to warm up again and a lot of snow will start melting in the next few days.Great picture's of the big lake at sunset.

Back to cooking for one lol.tomorrow I will be talking to myself while checking the line.

I just got word from the wife that we can spend Christmas at the cabin next year so I'm pumped. Dad can pre-bait when he comes up to shut the water off in November then we'll be up for a few weeks over M/F season then the week of Christmas, should be able to set some cat traps out and expect something to come by in that amount of time!
