I pulled everything. The only tracks I've seen since Monday were a couple single kittens, and with the snow disappearing and Christmas family functions coming up I decided to give it a break. I scouted other areas looking for one more nice tom but the only track I saw was an old medium sized one. I've put on a lot of miles walking, on four wheeler, and in my truck, and its amazing how many wolf tracks Ive seen, and how few deer tracks Ive seen. Deer are practically non-existent and I've been in some of the best deer habitat you'll ever find. Still only seen one fisher track too. Hopefully we'll get some snow before the season closes, but it sure doesnt look like it any time soon

Today I made the mistake of driving the line that we pulled on Saturday when the young guys were leaving.
Sure enough, one of the baits has a cat that looks like he took up residence there, so of course I had to set it up again.!

Caught my 3rd cat of the year and this one while the season was open. Big male in a hay set.

Saw three today,didn't shoot any of them,figured they made it this long into the season I'd let them live.Are you seeing any Spruce grouse I've seen only one,cool bird I've only shot one for mounting.
