This reminds me of the scraps trapping organizations had with dog hunters who worked against trappers intrests while pretending to be trappers..

Tell that to the sheep rancher down the road who lost 12 sheep in one night by wolf predation. The DNR paid him for his loss. This is this man's livelihood. He was raising livestock long before the wolf population exploded in MN. He should just suck it up? You can't comprehend the problem wolves are causing here. You live in an area where wolf management is possible. Not so in MN.

Most in this country have things people in other countries only dream about. Yet, they want America to be more like those other countries.

The long game. The antis and progressives have mastered it, simple as that.

Wolf management is not only possible in MN, it is necessary.

Boco, When you say "wolves benefit a lot of other furbearers WHEN KEPT IN BALANCE" are you unaware the only type of trapping in Colorado is cage trapping, and wolves are our state's sacred cow, never to be hunted, trapped, snared, shot or otherwise harassed? How does that make them able to be "Kept in balance"?? The ban on all trapping, snaring, etc. was a Constitutional Amendment in Colorado, that means the legislature can't fix it without a 60% majority vote. Do you think that will ever happen in a state run by liberals? REALLY? Reading through posts after your I see some on here have posted the same thing I just did, but Boco, you seem to post your opinion before knowing all the facts. Which leads to the question.....are you just agitating?

No,you need to look at why you lost your trapping opportunity.
Your problem is not wolves it is lack of trapping opportunity that you need to look at and why the general public took it away from you.

Forget that fear of gravity-get a little savagery in your life.

You know how wolves benefit other furbearers here? They leave leftovers. It doesn't benefit the leftover's population much though. smile

That's easy....They were told not to like trapping by Left leaning politicians. Simple as that. Trapping of any type causes immense pain and suffering, and now get rid of cage traps for some species as well. Any questions? How about a suggestion!

None . Only the ones in the west were self created.

"The nice thing about all these self created problems in the west and the other ones in the Midwest is the wolf lovers can now make all their money screwing with you guys and pretty much leave us alone. Thanks!"

Maybe this sentence structure was not clear? I apologize!

It's my understanding they released 10 wolves, but only publicized the 5.

Everyone posting that they hope they allow wolf trapping. Its gonna be awful hard catching them in cage traps. Since Colorado has already outlawed footholds.
