If you see toe nails it’s a K9 if not it might be a cat shadows no help. The way the toes are spaced I’d say cat.

Spacing yes and wild canines to me seem to have a more lineal toe while cats are more round. Could be those traits in my area?

I look for the diamond shaped pad on the K9s also the mud/shadows kind of distorted the roundness a bit.
